Solesalento was the first of the Group’s photovoltaic power plants to be established. Created using the finest components available (photovoltaic cells, inverter, control system etc.) and with great attention paid to its design and construction, the result is a highly efficient power plant. It was connected to the grid in March 2010 and is a ground-mounted plant located in Novoli (Le), Apulia. This area of southern Italy enjoys very high levels of solar radiation which, when combined with the efficiency of the plant, ensures high and stable energy production and profits year on year. The plant benefits from a 20 year feed-in tariff contribution from the Italian government, ‘2nd Conto Energia’, which equates to 346€ for each MW/h produced.
